The last floor of Sagesse School located in Achrafieh is dedicated for the laboratories and libraries. MUREX funded the rehabilitation process of this space to restore back the main function of this area while preserving its identity.

BEELD’s scope was the main design, consultancy and supervision. The main concept behind the design was to integrate light and clean lines and colors, emphasizing on one color in each laboratory or studio to highlight the function of the space. Moreover, a light industrial mood was incorporated to highlight the school’s history and introduce a modern feel for future generations. Daily reports and submittals, on-site coordination and meetings were regularly held to keep track of all works done while keeping an eye on the schedule and strict deadlines. Phase II funding concerning the furniture is now processed and ACE are working on the interior furniture to be able to welcome students for practical sessions.
